Shoes

In the past few days,
our sweet old cat, Quest,
has taken up the same
unusual manner of
hanging out in the closet
and laying on my shoes.
So reminiscent of
her sister, Shy, who
took great comfort in
my shoes during
her final days just
before she went away.
